When we’re always on a mountain, it’s easy to forget who is Lord (we think we got there in our own strength), if we didn’t experience the valley to show us that God’s strength is very far beyond our own. Rely on God in the valley, and keep coming back to him on the mountain (the frequency of valleys might be less if you don’t need as many reminders).
God knows what is best for us in the end. He knows what we need to go through to grow, to know him better.
The valleys are the best times; they make everything meaningful. And you experience how much God loves you, when relying on him, and grow from it. I don’t want to live on the surface level.
